Living on the Westside of the city of El Paso

Living on the westside of the city puts you close to the Franklin Mountains where the terraine is hilly and in alot of cases you may have some great views. Enjoy the sunrise or the sunset from your back yard! The lazy Rio Grande (left) meanders through the Upper Valley where  there are walking trails next to the levy  and areas you can ride bikes or horses right next to the Rio Grande. The west side of the city has a wide range of neighborhoods and lifestyles. There are numerous parks and even the Franklin Mountain State Park where you can climb the mountains or just enjoy and afternoon picnic.

There are two high schools on the west side: Coronado High School and Franklin High School. Franklin is the newer of the two schools.

The average sales price for a 4 bedroom home  on the west side of the city for the past 12 months has been about $270,800 and average list price was $286,200.
